Overview
My Cosy Cove is a home and lifestyle brand that offers carefully curated items designed to bring warmth and comfort to living spaces. The client needed a Shopify storefront that was not only visually calming and brand-aligned, but also optimized for product discoverability and conversion.
My Role
As the Shopify Developer, I was responsible for setting up the store from scratch, customizing the theme, integrating essential Shopify apps, and ensuring a responsive, user-friendly shopping experience.

Process
1. Theme Setup & Branding Alignment
Starting with a premium Shopify theme, I customized fonts, colors, and layout to reflect the brand’s soft and comforting aesthetic. The homepage was structured to highlight featured collections and seasonal promos.
2. Product Structure & Filtering
Using Shopify metafields and smart collections, I created a system that made it easy for customers to filter by room, category, or mood. This helped simplify product discovery and improve the user journey.
3. App Integrations
Key third-party integrations included:
Klaviyo for email popups and abandoned cart flows
ReConvert for post-purchase upsells
Loox for customer reviews with photo uploads
Fera.ai for subtle urgency and trust-building widgets
4. Mobile Optimization
Mobile users were a priority. I ensured seamless scrolling, swipe interactions, and thumb-friendly CTAs across the site. All elements were tested for responsiveness and accessibility.
Challenges
One challenge was managing product variants and their corresponding lifestyle images. I created a custom solution that allowed variant-specific image switching, improving clarity for the end user without overloading the theme.
Results
Fully branded Shopify store launched successfully
